Hi, my name is James Madras, and welcome to Career Lab. This is a non-profit initiative to help people get back on their feet and start a new career path for themselves. Our goal is to provide the tools to help create the possibilities in pursuing something you love. We are not a Job placement organization, we simply give you the right tools and point you in the right direction, giving you confidence and purpose to pursue your passion. Our organization is built with industry professionals with years of experience in their respected fields to increase your chances of acquiring an interview, receiving that call back, and accepting the job offer you deserve. Did I mention that you receive all this for the Luxurious Price of $$$ FREE$$$$?!?!?!?! No scams, no hidden agendas, just simply helping hard working individuals pursue what they are passionate about. All work done by Career Lab is driven by volunteer's effort and services. Right now we offer Resume Editing and Proofreading and will add more services as our group grows and recruits more volunteers. If you already have a resume, please e-mail it to mbcareerlab.resume@gmail.com and attach your resume as a word document with your contact information and a tell us a little about yourself. We will contact you as soon as possible.

Volunteers! I am looking for volunteers who are willing to donate their time and knowledge toward our cause. I will need a CORE Career Lab Team to keep things running smoothly and Team Members to help support in handling the workload. CORE members will be expected to be available at least 5 hours per week, depending on demands. CORE positions are listed below, if you are interested in becoming a CORE member, please e-mail to the link mbcareerlab@gmail.com let me know which position you are interested in, your background, and why you want to help. Remember, this is strictly a volunteer position and must be willing to dedicate time required to keep our organization running. Accepting the CORE Member Position will be the same as accepting a part time job and should be treated as such.

-Website Manager/Editor- Responsible for maintenance of the Career Lab website. Receiving and updating information on the site, coordinates with other CORE Members to ensure consistency throughout our organization. You have an eye for detail and pride yourself in quality. Must be familiar with web design with references.

-Job Analyst/Information Specialist- Responsible for obtaining current job posting and any relevant information in job growth in our community. Obtaining the latest information on cutting edge techniques. You are great at researching and obtaining critical information. You are well organized and can interpret and convey data that is easily received by others. Can handle sensitive information responsibly and can process high volume of e-mails.

-Social Networking Specialist- You are familiar with many social media platforms and possess the ability to use them as a tool in connecting with our clients and the community. You are the social butterfly, able to connect well with others with grace and intelligence. You will be responsible in the creative aspect in maintaining a connection with our community. Your current social media activity will be reviewed upon consideration.

-Blogger- You are a creative and an innovative writer. Your readers can feel your personality through your words with ease. You can make anything look appealing and entertaining with your uncanny ability to interpret boring data and paint the mind with vivid colors and imagery. You are prompt and can meet deadlines. I will be interested in reviewing your work upon consideration.
